La Incidencia de la Identidad de Género en la Morfología Apreciativa Aumentativa en el Español Uruguayo
Keywords:
morfolofía apreciativa, identidad de género, experimental, español rioplatenseAbstract
This study explores the relationship between augmentative appreciative morphology in Uruguayan Spanish and the social variable of gender. Specifically, it seeks to determine whether there is a preference for the selection of use of -azo and -ísimo based on gender identity. For this purpose, an experiment was carried out using an offline questionnaire, in which participants were asked to select between two possible continuations for the same informal context. This article details the offline experiment conducted and presents the analysis and results obtained in relation to two main areas: grammatical basis and gender identity.
