Abstract

The current study pretends to provide various new about one  the events least known in saint Ignatius´life: his stay in Salamanca between july and september 1527. Based on historical sources, reviewed by the bibliography, we aim to analyze the diocesan process that took place, as well as his imprisonment in the episcopal chambers.
