La hagiografia en los pliegos sueltos poéticos españoles del siglo XVI

Abstract

This work analyses the presence of the Hagiography in the Spanish poetic chap-books in the16th century: the continuity of the Medieval tradition of the saints’ lifes with devotional and exemplary function as well as the usefulness of these texts as a diffusion and reinforcement way of Trent’s thesis.
