INTEGRITY OF INFORMATION IN DOCUMENTS EDITED BY THE UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION (UNO) AND THE MADRID CLUB (WLA/CDM) AND ITS IMPACT ON THE EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE AND JUDICIAL POWERS OF BRAZIL

The United Nations and the Club de Madrid (WLA/CdM) have recommended promoting information integrity to combat disinformation and hate content. The guiding question of the study is: Do the Brazilian Executive, Legislative and Judicial powers include, in the documents published and/or signed by their authorities, references to the characteristics, attributes and repercussions brought by these entities? The general objective is to reveal to what extent the approaches to information integrity established by the United Nations and the Club de Madrid have had repercussions in Brazil. The research is descriptive, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, using content analysis to interpret the data. The results indicate that the Executive, Legislative and Judicial powers have taken into account the approaches of international organizations on information integrity in combating disinformation, with the aforementioned concept having repercussions among their bodies, including with regard to the establishment of public policies.
