INFORMATION REGIME AND THE ETHNIC-RACIAL ISSUE
challenges to achieving agenda 2030 goals in archival institutions

The dialog between information regime, Agenda 2030, and ethnic-racial issues in archival institutions in the field of Information Science becomes necessary to keep up with social agendas. The objective of the article is to analyse, in the scientific production of Information Science, the articulation between the information regime in archival institutions and the goals of the 2030 Agenda, concerning ethnic-racial issues. The research is classified as descriptive, bibliographic, and qualitative, with data collected from the Information Science Database. The results show the presence of articulation between the information regime and archival institutions; however, there is an absence of convergence between these institutions and ethnic-racial issues and the 2030 Agenda. We conclude the need to expand studies in the area, reinforcing the importance of the information regime of archival institutions, committed to ethnic-racial equity and the promotion of racial justice, aligned with the sustainable development goals.
