The internationalisation of universities constitutes a global phenomenon in continuous expansion, closely associated with the intensification of international academic mobility. In this context, students who move to other countries for educational purposes may face significant challenges in accessing, using, and appropriating information, particularly within distinct institutional and cultural settings. This study aims to define the theoretical and methodological framework of a research focused on the role of university libraries in addressing and mediating the informational needs of students from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), considering libraries as strategic spaces for academic and informational integration.
