Prisma.com, an international peer-reviewed journal published by CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Research Centre Culture, Space and Memory at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, announces its call for papers for its new series, launching a new editorial direction, a new editorial board, and a renewed graphic identity under the imprint of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto.

Prisma.com is an open-access peer-reviewed journal that promotes interdisciplinary dialogue between Communication, Information, and Digital Technologies, publishing original research that contributes to theoretical advancement, empirical understanding, and the critical development of methods in this domain.

 

SCOPE

The journal welcomes contributions that:

  • develop or test theoretical models in the field of communication and information;
  • articulate inter- and transdisciplinary perspectives;
  • critically explore emerging phenomena in the digital ecosystem;
  • contribute to methodological innovation;
  • analyse professional practices, public policies, and media ecologies.

 

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS ACCEPTED

  • Original scientific articles, theoretical or empirical in nature;
  • Proposals for thematic dossiers;
  • Critical reviews of works published in the last two years.

 

WHO CAN SUBMIT

The call is open to researchers, faculty members, postgraduate students, and professionals in Communication, Information Science, Digital Media, Digital Studies, and related fields. Professionals without a doctoral degree are welcome as co-authors alongside a PhD holder.
