Abstract

This article presents the design and implementation of the Virtual Renaissance Museum, developed by future history teachers as part of their initial training, using the Artsteps platform. It seeks to explore the pedagogical potential of virtual museums as innovative teaching resources, promoting meaningful, collaborative, and interdisciplinary learning. The experience allowed participants to develop digital competences, critically reflect on educational practices, and test the resource in a real classroom context. The results highlight the positive impact of integrating digital technologies into history teaching, reinforcing the importance of training practices that combine theory and practice, methodological innovation, and digital competence.
