O Convento de Moura: uma questão de fronteira
Abstract
The Convent of Moura and the hypotheses regarding its construction highlight yet another imprecision in the history of the Carmelite Order. A "confusion" that arises due to the lack of defined borders may be resolved through a deeper analysis of the peninsular politics of the second half of the 13th century.
This article aims to present a conclusion regarding the foundation of the Convent of Moura by examining the border disputes between Portugal and Castile during the 13th century.
